Find your way through Valencia's charming streets to the Mercado de Colón, located in the Exiample district. Have a look around the market, frequented by locals and contained in an unusual architectural structure, before stopping for a refreshing horchata — the most traditional summer drink of Valencia.

Move on to Mercado Central, where you'll make your way down the chaotic aisles between stalls selling an overwhelming variety of items. Pause for a jamón tasting, and learn about the mysterious difference between jamón ibérico and serrano. Next, your group will squeeze into a tiny artisan chocolate shop to taste some Cubanitos, bombones and handmade truffles. Follow that up with a stop for a local olive oil tasting, washed down with Spanish wine.

Finish up at one of the oldest restaurants in Rufaza, housed in a 200-year-old building, for some traditional tapas and wine.

We loved Valencia in general and this tour was a special part of it. Great variety of the foods Valencia is known for as well as great local history. We arrived a little late because of a late bus and the tour guide and group could not have been more understanding. Of special note, we asked about the local version of paella and our tour guide said he would send us something. Not only did we get the recipe but we got a long email thanking us for being on the tour with the recipe and a lot of other info. Highly recommend this as a way to get to know Valencia and learn about their great cuisine.

Great walk, excellent food, good drinks and lots of fun. Lenny guided us through all the things you should know about eating in Valencia. Taste cheeses, oil, jamón ibérico, chocolate, wine and more. Highly recommended.

This was a fantastic tour and I am very happy I booked this for my trip to Valencia. Lenny was a terrific guide, and as it was low season in Valencia, I ended up being the only person on the tour which worked out just fine. I did appreciate that Lenny went on the tour with me even though it was just the two of us. She always provided interesting information along all the stops during the tour and the tastings throughout were delicious. I also had time to do a little shopping too. But what I really appreciated the most here was the fact that Lenny remained in touch with me even after the tour was over and provided me with valuable suggestions for where to go during the remainder of my trip. This made everything so much more personal and special for me.

This is a fun tour. Lenny is lively and full of information, generous to a fault, and has really good connections. This allowed us to taste and understand the local food culture in Valencia. From the Chufa Horchata to chocolates, olive oil and then wine - it's all good. Plus, she made us reservations at a great Paella Restaurant for the next day and recommended options for the rest of our stay. Don't miss this great opportunity.

What a great tour! Lent was amazing and knowledge that made the tour a culinary journey through the essence of Spanish food. We toured 4 of Valencia's markets, sampling Jamon, chorion, Manchega Cheese, olive oils and Tapas. Her knowledge of the city was excellent. 4 hours of amazement. Loved it..

It was fantastic Lenny was very personable. She brought us to the local Valencia cuisine such as Orxata drink, difference between Iberica jamon and other type of hams. We also tasted locally grown olives and fresh squeezed orange, which Lenny reminded us is part of the themes throughtout.
