Even though rome is a small area to navigate for a short city break to see everything is a challenge. This bus let you see all the world famous sights plus more. The audio is ok, stops are good (can be lengthy) the reps on the buses are helpful too. The only things I would criticise is that they aren't every 10m,more like 20, the tour takes 1.5-2 hours so if you're using it to get to sights quickly it can be difficultd. Overall worthwhile at a good price.
the audio on most buses is very good but some are difficult to understand. the staff are very helpful. it is easy and cheap to buy the attraction tickets from the guys at the bus stops or on the bus. they all speak perfect English. the self ie sticks for €10 are very good value and much needed.
This was my first visit to Rome and although this was probably the best way for a newcomer to tour the sites, I would have to say I never got used to the never ending flow of traffic (and the never ending horn honking)! The open air concept of the bus is good to see the sites but can be nauseating when stuck in the traffic jams! We also had the unfortunate bus/car collision and it took some time for another bus to arrive and get us back on route!
