James Bond Island is one of the most visited islands of Phang Nga Bay, famous for its starring role in Bond movie ‘The Man with the Golden Gun’. This full-day speedboat cruise from Phuket also includes sea canoeing at Hong Island, a trek to the Ice Cream and Diamond Caves, and free time on Naka Noi Island.
  • Full-day speedboat tour of James Bond Island and Phang Nga Bay from Phuket
  • Paddle around the caves and lagoons of Hong Island on a canoe
  • See the distinctive Khao Ping Gan, which featured in Bond movie ‘The Man With the Golden Gun’
  • Tuck into a delicious buffet lunch in Ko Panyi village
  • Enjoy swimming, sunbathing or jet skiing (extra cost) at Naka Noi beach
  • Great-value tour includes hotel pick-up, lunch and round-trip transport
Begin your day with an 8am pick-up from your Phuket hotel and a transfer to the pier, where you can enjoy tea, coffee and snacks as you await the rest of your group. Around 10am, set sail aboard a speedboat and gaze out across the Andaman Sea as you cruise out around Phang Nga Bay.

Stop to snap photos of the dramatic sea cliffs as you cruise past Koh Panak Island, then continue to Hong Island for a thrilling sea canoeing tour. Accompanied by your guide, paddle your way around the island’s unusual rock formations, limestone caves and hidden lagoons.

Back on the speedboat, it’s time for the day’s star attraction – a cruise around Khao Ping Gan (Leaning Rock), better known as ‘James Bond Island’. Get your camera ready as you spot the famous Ko Tapu, the 66-foot (20-meter) limestone rock that featured as Scaramanga's hideaway in ‘The Man With the Golden Gun’.

Pause for a delicious buffet lunch in the fishing village of Ko Panyi, then take a tour of the traditional island, with its stilted houses and colorful fishing boats.

Stop to take a peek inside the Ice Cream and Diamond caves, en-route to the final stop of the day, Naka Noi island. Enjoy free time to swim and sunbathe on the beach, or try fun activities such as Jet Skiing or banana boating (extra cost), before setting sail back to Phuket.

Finally arrive back at the pier, where a driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

This was the highlight tour of our trip to Phuket. The really important thing is that from the time we got to the dock area, until we departed at the end of the day, it really felt like they were doing everything possible to ensure we had a great experience. The focus was on their customers. It started by them having coffee, juice, water and pastries ready and waiting for our arrival. Then all day long they appeared with new cold drinks, fresh fruit, or other snacks. Now the trip itself was also amazing, but there are quite a few companies offering similar trips, the reason to book this one is the personal attention. The boat is also very comfortable, with a max of 23, it means it can move quickly and at each stop you can move on and off quickly, that lets them do a couple more stops than others, which is just one more reason to book this specific tour.

The tour was really nice, definitely a great experience and would recommend to anyone in Phuket or around.
The downside was the driver who chose to keep us in the care for a total of 4 hours in order to got to Patong and leave and pick-up people there instead of taking a 10 minute detour and leave us first. Very unhappy with that part as we lost almost all day because of it.

We enjoyed this one, it was a long day though but they kept it moving pretty quickly. The floating village was interesting, not much to see at James Bond island but they mixed it up with canoe rides amongst the rocky islands, and visiting some of the caves. We are pleased we went but could have cut it by 2 hours as our interest waned. Luckily we went by speedboat as the petrol smell from the local boast was pretty strong. They did try to get a fair bit of money from you for photos they took throughout the day - but you take your own and you don't need to pay. I would have paid if the price had been less I think it equated to 60AU for a usb.
