Greet your tour guide and awaiting bus at the tour office in Philipsburg. Climb aboard the comfortable, climate-controlled coach and depart the Dutch side of the island, headed for Marigot. Watch the island scenery out the window and listen to your guide's commentary about the island's history, traditions and culture. Pass the St Maarten Museum, the courthouse and a collection of quaint villages in the island's interior.
Disembark in Marigot, the capital of the French side of the island. Spend your hour of free time there however you like. Choose to people-watch in the marina full of luxe mega-yachts, browse the French boutiques or dig in to some fresh pastries at a local cafe.
Climb aboard the double-decker Explorer for the next phase of your tour; a party cruise back to the Dutch side of the island. As you cruise, admire the mansions dotting the lush island greenery and sip rum punch or beer from the open bar. The boat will dock in Simpson Bay, another haven for impressive mega-yachts and a bevy of celebrities.
Transfer to the coach for the ride back to Philipsburg.
Please Note: Sometimes the tour operates in reverse, starting with a drive from Philipsburg to Simpson Bay, cruising to Marigot, spending an hour of free time there before taking the scenic drive back to Philipsburg.
