I would highly recommend this excursion. Our guide to the falls, Sherrie and driver Henri were excellent, she was very easy to talk to and ask questions of. Once at the falls we were put into a group with a guide named Melbourne to make the climb. Our kids 16 and 18 wasn’t to sure about the excursion I took us on but by the end of the climb they were talking about how much they enjoyed it. After the falls we were taken to a little restaurant where we had jerk chicken, it was a very good meal.

Be prepared for a lot of work going up the falls but it is going to be fun, and wet, but a lot of fun. Our guide Sheryl was so nice and helpful and at the falls our guide Floyd was hilarious and attentive at the same timem

Great tour!

Arranged the trip through Viatours and saved money on similar trip arranged through the cruise ship. We were picked up from the cruise port in a small group of 10 and had a friendly local guide Cheryl throughout our tour. As well as going to the falls I don't need to go in to great detail as other contributors have said it all we also got to see Fern Gully, and had an excellent freshly prepared lunch. Climbing the falls in a human chain is great fun but physically quite demanding as you climb several hundred feet over slippery rocks and pools. I would recommend taking water shoes with you from home to save paying the inflated prices for cheap Chinese ones in the souvenir shops. Alternatively rent them for 7 if you are coming through the cruise port at Ocho Rios. You can no longer rent them at the falls themselves. We had to endure a couple of tourist souvenir shops on the way to the falls, but this is common to many trips I have been on in Britain and Europe. Overall this is well worth the money and a safe way to experience a small slice of Jamaica. The trip took about 4.5 hours

This excursion was well worth the money! We had a tour guide and a driver. Iyona and George were wonderful! They went above and beyond what was expected and really got to know our group of 11. They had gifts for the kids and would turn around and stop if we saw something we were interested in. They taught us about the island, culture and even gave us a lesson in Patois. Dunn's River was a fun and exciting experience and the food was delicious. But Iyona and George really took this excursion from GREAT to AMAZING!! Completely worth the money.

Awesome tour, loved the river falls, highly recommend!! We had our own tour guide as there were two ships in and two different tour times. We got the earlier tour with Mr. Big who took us to the falls, waited for us, and then took us out to lunch at a great Jamaican Jerk place on the island!!

It was very convenient. Smaller group and the representative met us at the port and transported us to the Dunn's River efficiently. Would highly recommend.

We had a great time climbing the Falls!
We were met by the excursion representative as we disembarked and directed to the transport van. Both the guide and the driver were professional and informative on the drive through Ocho Rios.
The climb is not for the faint of heart, but exhilarating and challenging.
The only con to this trip was the stop at a local store to purchase water shoes...wait and get them at the falls, they are 10 and in Jamaican colors.

We met our tour guide and private van right outside the port of Ocho Rios. The tour included a short shopping trip, the Dunn's River Falls adventure, and then lunch at a local spot. Our tour guide got us our tickets to the Falls and set up us with the next tour. Wear your swimsuit to the Falls - you will get soaked and be prepared to climb up some pretty big rocks. We made it back to the port with over an hour to spare, so that was greatly appreciated!
