What You Can Expect

Niagara Falls Canadian Side Tour and Maid of the Mist Boat Ride

Niagara Falls Canadian Side Tour and Maid of the Mist Boat Ride

Want to get to know Niagara Falls, Canada? This is the tour with the most iconic, must-do experiences. Let’s get started.
After a hotel pickup, start with an exciting ride up to the observation deck at the top of the majestic Skylon Tower. Enjoy the incredible view of the Niagara River and all three waterfalls—the American, Bridal Veil and Horseshoe Falls from 520 feet (158 m) in the air.
Next, get ready for the experience of a lifetime on the Maid of the Mist cruise. This is as good as it gets, the best way to experience one of the world’s most amazing natural wonders. The cruise runs from early May to late October.

During the rest of the year, experience the Journey Behind the Falls excursion, where the sound of the falls is like thunder and the view is breathtaking. Stand in the mist and feel the rush where the Horseshoe Falls rumble from 13 stories above—dropping over 700,000 gallons of water every second at 40 miles per hour. Now that’s powerful.

Other highlights include Table Rock Centre, a retail and observation complex located at the brink of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls; Queen Victoria Park, the main parkland in Niagara Falls, opposite the Canadian Horseshoe and American Falls (with Sir Harry Oakes Gardens); the Upper Canadian Rapids from Third Sister Island, the Lower Niagara River and Gorge, and Whirlpool State Park, overlooking the Niagara Whirlpool with spectacular views of the rapids, the whirlpool itself and the Niagara River.

Please note: The Maid of the Mist portion of this tour departs from the U.S. side of Niagara Falls. All customers booking this tour must have appropriate documentation to enter the United States and Canada.

We had an awesome time on this tour. The weather was unbelievably warm for October and we were fine with this considering the boat ride and the possibility of getting wet while viewing the falls. We were provided with ponchos that kept all dry. The land tour was equally awesome. This area of Canada is very beautiful. Big shout out to our tour guide Dayna. She was so knowledgeable and friendly! I would highly recommend this tour!

I have been to Niagara Falls many times throughout the years, but I have never taken a tour. This was my birthday trip and I decided to do a tour and see the things that I haven't. I wanted to do a Maid of the Mist tour. I'm so happy that we did. Even though the day was cool, we had a fantastic time. Dayna, out tour guide was fantastic. She entertained as well as informed, which is exactly what I like. We saw the whirlpool, Skylon tower, drove along the lake, saw the American as well as the Canadian sides. If you get a chance to go on one of her tours, do so. She really made it a fun day.

The boat left on schedule. Got us real close to the Falls and a great view. The ponchos provided keep out the worst of the water, but you're going to get wet. Plan on it. Still, it's a great way to experience the Falls.

The best way to see the falls is with the Over The Falls Tour. It takes the stress out of figuring out the logistics and navigating the border crossing and everything else. Our tour guide, Josh, was fun and funny and very informative. I highly recommend it!

Thoroughly enjoyed hit comprehensive tour. It was thoughtfully paced and very informative. We actually spent more time visiting attractions and viewpoints on the American side. Canadian stops included lunch, the Niagara River Whirlpool Overlook, and Scanlon Tower. I would recommend this tour to friends and family. Be sure to add the Cave of the Winds and Prospect Point Trolley circle on your own for a fully complete experience.

This visit was a bucket list item for my wife. The tour was great and made for a very full day (6 hours). Lots of information. Reminders need to be stressed for people to have their passports with them. We had to delay our start while people were shuttled back to hotels to retrieve passports. Lunch stop was okay...several easy choices. Journey behind the falls would have been great addition. Overall just a great tour.

This was a great tour. The guide was wonderful. They picked us up at our hotel on time. It seemed like we did so much in the amount of time. Because of the time of year early April, we didnt do the boat ride but we went behind the falls which was pretty cool. We got so many views, angles and perspectives of the falls. Great trip!

Tour guide Jay was awesome. Lots of history and fun facts. Touring sites were great and we had plenty of time to take pictures of all of them.
