Following pickup in Negril, Montego Bay or at the Grand Palladium Resort in Lucea, board your comfortable vehicle for the trip to downtown Montego Bay. If you're picked up in Lucea or Negril, enjoy your relaxing ride down the scenic Jamaican coastline on the way into town.

When you disembark in Montego Bay, follow your guide on a 1-hour sightseeing tour that takes you through the city highlights. Drive by Sam Sharpe Square, named after the slave who led the 19th-century Christmas Slave Rebellion, view the neighborhood's blocks of impressive colonial buildings and learn about Jamaican history from your guide. You'll then drive through some of the residential neighborhoods featuring stately Georgian homes funded with money from the island's once-thriving sugar trade. View St James Parish Church, the home of stained glass pieces by English sculptor John Bacon.

At the conclusion of your tour, spend about 45 minutes perusing Rainbow, a local shop selling local Jamaican goods like coffee, rum and jerk seasoning. Pop out to a local restaurant for dinner (own expense), before continuing on to Rose Hall.

Rose Hall Great House is known for the legend of the 'White Witch of Rose Hall', about a woman named Annie Palmer who killed her three husbands and several slave lovers before taking her own life. Follow your guide on a 1-hour tour through the graceful Georgian mansion, full of historical artifacts.

Back on the coach, travel 30 minutes to the Luminous Lagoon, one of Jamaica's most famous attractions. Climb aboard a boat to see this eerie body of water up close. Learn about the harmless microorganisms that cause the glowing phenomenon. If it's a warm night and you're adventurous, take a break from the 30-minute boat ride with a swim in the fluorescent waters.

When you return to shore, you’ll head back to Montego Bay, Grand Palladium or Negril for hotel drop-off. During the drive back to Grand Palladium and Negril, a stop is made to purchase food and drinks (own expense).

Instead the driver showed up 20 minutes late, then spent the next 40 minutes driving to the opposite side of Montego bay to pick up the other half of our tour group who had been told the exact same pick up time we had. If we drove past anything of interest it wasn't pointed out. Instead we got rush hour traffic on the way back to Rainbow where we actually started the only part that could be considered a guided tour. They guided us into the store that we were required to go in before we could choose to 'pop out' anywhere else.

At this point we did have the advertised 45 minutes of 'hard sell.' However there was no real option to 'pop out' to, unless you count the small grocery store in the plaza.

Then onto Rose Hall... It was cute... a haunted house with actors and the typical attempts to startle people. The tour does start in the bar, where the tour guide leaves you for 10-15 minutes in the hopes you buy a drink, while the actors reset from the last group... and ends in the gift shop where you can purchase a picture of your group and various other souvenirs.

The lagoon was the best part of the evening, though did I regret booking in advance. Through our resort we could have taken a boat ride there rather than the driving through the traffic delays caused by the state of emergency guard check points.

A 'super saver' trip isn't a good deal if you don't get a large part of the value that is supposed to be included. Any money saved wasn't worth the time lost.

Tour was good. The tour guide Tony was brilliant! He was very knowledgeable and looked after us all. The only negative, arriving at Rose Hall you get all hiked up ready then was taken into a bar! Which just killed the excitement No need for the bar unless you fancy a drink afterwards!

It was ok,not as eventful as the description states our tour guide was uninterested and tried to rush us through the tour. Wished I remembered his name it was so bland. This really isn’t a super saver. Tour very bland with the exception of the Rose Hall tour which somewhat made the trip ok.

Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Our guide stayed with us for the duration and was full of interesting facts and information.
Rose Hall was spooky but such fun. We saw quite a few ghosts Actors as we wimps were led through the historical house. The actual story of Rose Hall was very interesting and Annie was a heck of a woman. There was even a Welsh Dresser in the house which I spotted immediately being Welsh myself.
The Luminous Lagoon Night Cruise was incredible and we were well looked after by Cpt Jac Sparrow and his merry crew.

Very informative and fun. Our guide and driver Dylan, picked us us right on time. Which never happens in Jamacia The tour of Montego Bay was great and then on to Rose Hall which was fun. You can go to a cool bar in basement of the plantation. The luminous lagoon was close by and is a must see. The 25 for photos is a bit excessive but as we had the boat to ourselves we didnt mind. Recommend this tour highly.

Extremely knowledgeable tour guide, Tony, took us to see the sights of Montego Bay, including shopping and a stop at Scotchies.
Enjoyed the Rose Hall tour, then to Falmouth for luminous lagoon. Again, very knowledgeable guide to explain the luminous concept. Certainly worth seeing on your Jamaica trip.

The tour lasted almost 6 hours due to traffic and pick up/drop off of passengers. We attempted to drive around Montego Bay during rush hour. The visit to Rose Hall Tour was too long and more focused on zombies jumping out at us than actually giving us the history of the family or the house. Had we known that there would not be time for even getting a snack, we would have eaten before we were picked up at 4:30 p.m.

The Rose Hall Tour and Luminous Lagoon Tours were amazing. The only small disappointing thing was it was in the dark, and it would have been nice to see the scenery there and back. Next time we will arrange another tour to see what we missed.

Overall quite enjoyable. Driver was not very enthusiastic or informative during tour. Trip through Montego Bay was quick and not very informative. We went up and down three or four streets before going to a touristy souvenir shop to constitute the Montego Bay tour. Would've preferred more time in city. Rose Hall was very interesting. Arrived too early, so we had about 30 minutes before tour started however, the mansion was very unique. The Luminous Lagoon was very cool, too, though I wish I would've brought a swimsuit to get into the water.

The content of this tour is very worthwhile the mechanics needs some restructuring. We were told to be in the lobby of our Montego Bay hotel at 4:30 pickup worked well. The tour was supposed to be broken down into 3 parts: a tour of historic Montego Bay with time for dinner, a ghost tour of Rose Hall, finishing with a trip into the Luminous Lagoon. By the time we retrieved the last members of the tour and headed into Montego Bay, it was 6-6:30, there was no time for dinner, the city was congested with traffic and it felt like a total waste of time. Some people hadn't eaten since 12:30pick up in Negril we hadn't eaten since 2:30. Had we known, we would have made different preparations and brought food with us. The ghost tours start on the hour so then we drive towards Rose Hall, another 20 minutes in the other direction. This is where the tour starts to get good: Rose Hall at night, is great! The crew has staged it very well and made it informative, fun and a bit scary. The Luminous Bay is a don't miss we did not swim and it was still fascinating and beautiful. We finally arrived back at our hotel at 10:30 and of course the buffet was closed. I would do it again but would love for the tour creators to rethink the pickup schedule and timing.
