The trip was good and for the money, it was amazing, since you are doing 3 things in one day. The first option was the Everglades ride from Miami and it was OK I wound't say the best, but it was ok, make sure you have ear plugs for this ride, they did not have any for us on the boat. Then we did the bus tour and it was amazing......The tour guide named Pablo was the best I have ever seen as a guide and he knew everything about the rich history and also he was very very funny. We had an amazing time at the bus tour and we sat on the top portion of the bus, so the 360 degree view was the best. Then was the Biscayne bay boat tour and it was good too. Highly recommend this combo tour. 5 start only because of Pablo, we had a blast on the bus ride :
The bus driver for the Everglades tour did not leave from the starting point on time. Nor did he leave from the Everglades on time. I was disappointed that I had to eat lunch at the Everglades as it was not good. I thought I was having lunch in Little Havana per the description of the activity. Then we did the city tour and stopped in Little Havana. We had a wait before the boat tour began. We were taken to another disappointing restaurant and told me would get free chips and salsa and $5 mojitos. The food options were limited and not good. We had to duck on the city tour, so we wouldnât hit our heads on low branches. This tour left at 9:30 am and returned after 8:00 pm. The description said 6:30. It was simply too long!
This combo tour was not well organized for transferring from one individual tour to another. We had to look for the guide to find out where to board the cruise tour and after the cruise nobody was there to tell us where to go to wait for the bus to go back to our hotel in South Beach. One of us had to call the office. The bus driver who picked us up was in a bad mood and rude. The city tour description included a drive through the Art Deco District, but the tour bus never drove through there. The tour stated that we would begin the day with the city tour and stop at the Bay Market for lunch before going on the cruise. However, the tour unexpectedly started with the Everglades visit and we had to have lunch there, which we did not enjoy. Also, we did not find out until we called to confirm the tour the day before that the pickup point was not at our hotel as previously booked, but a different place. If we did not call to confirm, I wonder what would have happened. The tour guides were good, however and we enjoyed them.
Fair deal for the price. Best of the lot was the city sightseeing tour. Enjoyed sitting up top of open air bus and hearing about the local neighborhoods. Next, the Bay cruise was also enjoyable. They showed us homes of the rich and famous folks from the bay side. I think the tour guide was overacting and trying too hard to be funny- it would have been better if he just shared information about the bay and the residents.Lastly, The Everglades airboat ride, this was least enjoyable. It took us an hour or so, by bus, to get to the Everglades. The boat ride was slow and lasted 20 min or so with frequent drifting. Only saw couple of small alligators in the water and three bird specie. Lunch was awful and service slow.
Terrible. Do not use this company or go on this tour. The staff were extremely rude, the tickets were oversold, the bus leaked water onto my seat and the entire tour was so poorly organized there was so much down time, just standing around doing nothing. The time listed for return was 6:30pm ... we did not return till after 8pm due to the lack of organization.
We decided on this full day excursion because we were taking a cruise the following day. The day was enjoyable with the air-boat ride and alligator show at the Everglades National Park, tour of Little Havana and Biscayne Bay cruise. However, the tour operator should have more instructions for the customers; there some some confusion because not everyone had the same itinerary. Otherwise a 5 star rating
I will never use this company again. The customer service my group received was horrible. The company lied about hotel pick up and drop off. We had handicap people in my group and they expected them to walk 3 blocks to the Miami Tours location. The tour for the day was unorganized due to the fact they had us changing different buses throughout the day. Overall, it was a horrible experience. I will not use this company again.
This tour started out a hot mess! We were originally text that pickup was in Holiday Inn Biscayne Market, then a 2nd text came at 10pm the night before the tour that directed us to meet at another location which was downtown Miami we were staying at EAST Hotel I tried calling several times that morning to find out why the change was made and no one answered the phone, so we went to new the location, and the cab ride cost us 30! When we got to the pick up location the employee said, she was too busy with other customers to answer the phone. Its hard to recover and be positive when the tour day starts out with this type of customer service. However I will say the Everglades Airboat ride and the Biscayne Bay Cruise were enjoyable.
