This was nothing short of amazing! The boat ran fairly smooth through the waves due to its size so it was a very comfortable ride. Our captain Chad was great, and kept us entertained with stories and songs, as well as lots of history about different parts of the coast. The crew was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was fine, but that's not why you are on this cruise.

The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, both from a short distance and up close Chad put the front end of the boat under a couple waterfalls!. At the end of the night as we were approaching the harbor, Chad stopped the boat and pointed it west. The sunset was unbelievable.

We highly recommend this cruise!

We loved this cruise! What made it so memorable was our Captain and crew. Captain Danny, Safety Officer Sullivan and Whitney were so kind, funny and passionate about what they do, you could not help but enjoy yourself! The cruise itself was very enjoyable, but we were very lucky. The winds were calm and seas were not rough. That said, there were still several passengers that did get sea sick, so please, if you have any chance of getting sea sick, take medication prior to boarding!! I can't imagine a cruise with normal winds and seas!! We were so very fortunate to see several whale sightings and dolphins! This was a highlight for us. The scenery of the Na Pali Coast is gorgeous but it is sad that the waterfalls are now extinct due to the all the previous diversions for sugar plantations. One can only imagine how gorgeous it used to be! All and all, this is one cruise not to be missed!

This dinner cruise was terrific. Beautiful scenery, saw some whales and turtles. The crew were fantastic. They showed every precaution to make the trip safe for us. My Grandaughter got seasick and they were most attentive and helpful. The captain provided us with history of the area and interesting stories. I highly recommend this tour.

On this trip you can see jaw-dropping views of Napali Coast. You can take pictures of some of the most amazing places on Earth. The captain is really experienced and he took the boat so close to the shore we could take showers in the waterfalls! We saw spinner dolphins up close in crystal clear waters and we saw manta ray!

The boat is really steady but some people experienced severe sea sickness. Please do yourself a favor, and if not sure, stock up on Dramamine. Make sure to hydrate and sit or stand at the back of the boat, observing the horizon. You can prevent onset of the sickness that way. I know I did.

Logistics: you arrive to the office which is close to the pier. Look for Blue Dolphin Charters which is the last office farther from the shore. Check in at the desk and then wait in the lobby for captain to arrive and take you to the ship. Slippers cannot be taken on board so wear something that can be secured on your feet, like flats or sandals.

My husband and I went on the Romantic Dinner Cruise and it was just breathtaking!!!! We were on our honeymoon April 2017 in Kauai and did a lot of activities while there. I must say that the dinner cruise was my favorite. Honestly the most for your buck too. The captain and his crew were incredible too. They always had a smile on their face and extremely helpful. The captain also would give us history of Kauai when we were looking at different parts of the island. Like Jurassic Park was filmed there!!!!! Very cool!!!!!! I couldn't have spent a more perfect last day in Kauai with my hubby. We even saw a whale and her baby!!!!!!! I could go on and on about the scenery and the crew. It is absolutely a must do while in Kauai!!!!!!! The captain, crew and scenery was a complete package of what felt like a piece of heaven!!!!!! We can't wait to go back and will absolutely be booking another dinner cruise again!!!!!!!!

During our 10 day vacation to Kauai, the Sunset Dinner Cruise was our favorite afternoon/evening. The captain and his crew were outstanding. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The captain went above and beyond our expectations to provide us the best views of the beautiful Na Pail Coast. His love for his home was very apparent. We loved it.
