Xplor was a lot of fun! We got picked up at 7am by a nice big shuttle bus. It picked up other people from other hotels along the way. After the hotel zone they stop by their main headquarters where a ton of customers are also waiting to get picked up. When the bus was completely full, we started our way to the adventure park.
When we got there, we went up to the counter and got our helmets and key for the free locker. We could also buy a photo package in this area which we didn't think we wanted and ended up buying it later when we were leaving. I think it's worth it, as there are lots of automatic photo machines throughout the park where you can get your pictures taken.
We were able to do everything the park had to offer: paddling, swimming, ATV'ing, and zip-lining. The food was an all-inclusive buffet that opened from 11:30am until 5pm. It was about 4:30pm when we were still eating and the nice staff there reminded us that we should be heading back to the bus because it leaves at 5pm.
We had a fun time and we would come back here.
Great place. Transportation provided by Experiencias Xplor and they are very professional. Xplor park is well organized and easy to get to all of the activities. Try to do the zipline in the morning. Otherwise you might run out of time. The other activities have much less people. The buffet place is also good. Lots of food options and good place just to relax. There are also other bars that provided smoothies. One problem with getting the Xplor tkts thru Viator is you couldn't pre-purchase the Photo package and we ended up paying more for that at the site. I highly recommend buying the photo package. There is no way you can take those zipline pictures on your own...
If you love thrills and excitement for couples and families this is a must! You'll get to experience some of the tallest and fastest zip-lines which drew me to come to Xplor twice on two separate trips. You can only use all natural sunscreen and bug spray, so I recommend doing some research and bring your own or prepare to pay 10-12 for a small bottle. Snacks and food are included in your admission as well as transportation to the park. Tickets are about 140 a person which in my opinion is worth it. Snacks include fruit and custom made smoothies. Lunch is a huge buffet of foods including a salad bar, fruit and cheese, hamburgers, hotdogs, ceviche, tacos, fried rice, chicken dishes, pastas, and the list goes on. I would recommend bring water shoes, go-pro, and a light cover-up or shirt to shield you from the sun otherwise you will be sun burnt even with sunscreen application.
