Nicknamed the “greatest little show on Earth”, Miniature World is a series of miniature-themed dioramas and displays representing both historical times & fictional worlds located in Victoria, Canada. Some of the highlights include the world’s largest dollhouse and world’s longest model railroad, as well as miniature representations of Victorian London, space, a battlefield, and more. The exhibits are very detailed and children are encouraged to interact and play with the collections whenever possible.
Miniature World is located on Humboldt Street in Victoria, Canada. It can be reached on foot in just 12 minutes or by car in 5 from the ferry terminal via Belleville and Douglas street. There is a paid parking garage across the street. Entry costs $15 per adult, $10 per youth, and $8 per children. The museum is open from 9 am to 5 pm between September 27 and May 6, and from 9 am to 9 pm between May 7 and September 26. It is closed on December 25.
