7th Arrondissement Tours

It’s hard to visit Paris without setting foot in the 7th Arrondissement. The opulent home to some of the city's most famous attractions—including the Eiffel Tower, the Hotel des Invalides (Napoleon’s final resting place), and the Musee D’Orsay—sits on the left bank of the River Seine, welcoming visitors with spectacular views and an undeniably Parisian flair. While the neighborhood is best known for its iconic attractions, it has been one of the most prestigious residential areas in the city for centuries, and a walk around the block will lead you past many elegant mansions once belonging to Parisian aristocrats. Art-lovers shouldn't miss the Musee D’Orsay—which features the works of greats like Monet, Renoir, and Van Gogh—or the Musee Rodin Sculpture Garden. The Musee du quai Branly, with its collection of tribal art from French territories in Oceania and Africa, is also well worth a visit.

While first-time visitors can ensure a seamless Paris experience with a skip-the-line ticket to the Eiffel Tower, anyone after a more unique perspective of the neighborhood can opt for a tour through the sewers of Paris (Les Egouts de Paris) beginning on the quai next to the Pont de l’Alma.

The RER-C train stops at the Invalides, Champ de Mars-Tour Eiffel, and Musee D’Orsay stations, and the Batobus hop-on, hop-off boat stops at the Eiffel Tower and Musee D’Orsay along the Seine.
