The Hamptons Tours

148 Reviews
Well-heeled New Yorkers know that when summer streets heat up weekends are best spent in the country. That’s why every Friday the Hampton Jitney and the Long Island Expressway are jam packed with urbanites in search of escape. And most agree there’s no place better to take in some sun and fun then the Hamptons.

Located east of New York City on neighboring Long Island, the Hamptons are home to quiet streets, country stores, world-class restaurants and some of the nation’s most beautiful beaches. And while season passes are needed to access most of these sandy shores once the sun comes up, it’s still possible to enjoy the best of the Hamptons just by wandering the streets of South Hampton, where New York’s elite come to play, shop, dine and relax, or settling in for a cold beer in East Hampton, which hosts a more artistic, laid back vibe.

Practical Info

The Hamptons are accessible via I-495, also known as the Long Island Railroad. The Hampton Jitney and the Hampton Luxury Liner offer popular bus service to this beach destination and the Long Island Railroad has several convenient Hamptons stops.
