Do you know for Taiwanese indigenous, diving or snorkeling is not a water sport or for fun, it is for food collecting, part of their daily life. “The ocean is their refrigerator, and the mountains are their tool-sheds,” they always say. When they are hungry, they swim to the sea and collect some food. Sometimes they eat them raw, sometimes cook in wood and stones.
The traditional lifestyle is interesting and full of wisdom. This workshop simply bring you to the right people and work with them for a project. In summer, we go to the sea and collect seafood together. When the waves don't allow, we walk into mountains and collect mountain food. Sometimes we might be able to do both.
