With everything from mini golf, Go Karts, and Bumper Boats, to arcade games, batting cages, and even small roller coasters, the Zuma Fun Center in South Houston makes for hours of family fun. Classics like skee-ball, air hockey, and video arcade games are indoors, whereas the 18 hole mini golf course is next to the Go Kart track and Bumper Boat pool. All three lead to a bit of competitive fun, whether it’s a race to the finish line or a challenge to stay afloat.
The Zuma Fun Center’s batting cages can be set at different speeds depending on skill level. The three rides for children include Miner Mike Coaster, the dinosaur ride, and the Rio Grande train.The fun center can also accommodate groups for events and parties. To get to the Zuma Fun Center from downtown Houston, take the freeway 59 to the Hillcroft exit. Each of the attractions has different hours, though they’re typically open from at least 12 pm to 9 pm. Each is also individually priced, though you can obtain a wristband for unlimited rides on all for $23.99. The fun center is open daily and though hours vary, it is generally open from 12-10pm every day.
