The Promised Land Zoo is one of Missouri’s largest animal parks. Though it is one of the state’s biggest attractions, it continues to be family owned and operated. Located in Branson, the park offers closer encounters with the animals than in other zoos. Many of the species are rare and endangered, though protected and trained by professionals for live animal shows, safaris on foot, and feedings.
Animals that call the zoo home range from monkeys and birds to big cats, reptiles, kangaroos, and camels. There is also an area called Parakeet Paradise for interaction with dozens of parakeets, as well as a petting zoo that’s fun for smaller children. The team at the Promised Land Zoo is committed to giving the best possible care and protection of the animals, making the interactive experience safe and comfortable for visitors. For many, the best moments are seasonal — when baby animals are able to come out and play.
Branson’s Promised Land Zoo is about an 8 minute drive from downtown Branson, and parking is available onsite. The zoo is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm and admission costs $20 for adults and $12 for children.
